Frenby is a small, independent project. There are three addresses rather than one, so that what you send lands in the right place. Pick whichever fits.
report@frenby.com
The fastest route is inside the app: on a profile or in a chat, open the “⋮” menu and choose Report. You can also block someone at any time, in the app or under You → Settings → Blocked frenbies. Blocking is mutual and immediate: neither of you can see the other or send messages.
If you write to us instead, it helps enormously to include the display name, roughly when it happened, and screenshots of the profile or chat. Take the screenshots before you block, because blocking hides the conversation from you too.
We review every report and can remove content, restrict features, suspend an account or close it permanently. Section 7 of the Terms of Use sets out how that works and how to appeal a decision. The Safety Guide covers what to do beyond reporting, including which authority to go to in your country.
privacy@frenby.com
Use this address to ask what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to get a copy, to object to processing, or to withdraw a consent you gave earlier. Section 7 of the Privacy Policy lists these rights, and section 10 covers the additional or differently-named rights that apply if you are in the UK, Canada, the USA or Australia.
You do not need to write to anyone to delete your account. It is self-service in the app, under You → Settings → Delete account, and it takes your data with it.
hello@frenby.com
General questions, bugs, press, partnerships, or anything that does not fit the two addresses above.
hello@frenby.com is the single point of contact for both users and authorities under Art. 11 and 12 of Regulation (EU) 2022/2065. We communicate in German and English.
Honestly: we read everything, and reports that involve someone's safety are dealt with first. Frenby is not a large company with a support desk, so please allow a few days for anything that is not urgent. If something is urgent and involves danger, contact your local emergency services rather than waiting for us.
The full provider details, including the postal address, the person responsible for content and the register information, are published in the Impressum. That page is in German because it is required in that form under § 5 of the German Digital Services Act (DDG), which applies to Frenby as a service operated from Germany, whichever country you are reading from.
